The Collaborative for Gender + Reproductive Equity (CGRE) is honored to have received a grant from Melinda French Gates to supercharge our work to advance women’s power and protect women’s rights in the U.S. Despite the pressing need for attention and investment, only about 2% of charitable giving in the U.S. goes to organizations focused on women and girls. As the first step in the next chapter of her philanthropy, Melinda French Gates is committing to even the match with additional funding through 2026 to advance women’s power in the U.S. and globally.
